Let’s Go Nuts!
Nuts are so versatile and healthy at the same time. You may use them in desserts, smoothie bowls, salads, sauces or savory dishes. Just try them out to pep up your food with some special nutty taste. There are so many different types of nuts. Hint: Soaked and blended cashew or macadamia nuts may also make your smoothie bowls creamier.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 frozen banana
2 soft dates (e.g., medjool), pitted
¼ cup coconut milk
1 tsp lime juice
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp rose water
TOPPINGS
Figs
Blackberries
Puffed quinoa
METHOD
Put all ingredients together into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Serve your creamy smoothie in a bowl and top it with fresh figs, fresh blackberries and some puffed quinoa.
