London is filled with beautiful neighborhoods, and each has its own charm. Here’s a quick overview of some of the biggest hoods.
• Notting Hill
I might have a biased opinion because I lived in the area, but out of all of the neighborhoods, I would have to say it was my favorite. Mainly because of all the pink houses and quaint boutiques! On the weekends the Portobello Market is open and great to explore. You can find amazing vintage items.
• South Kensington
It offers a great mix of it all—houses, restaurants and shops. The spots in this area are a bit more spread out, but you get it all. It has great flower shops as well as the Insta-famous bakery Peggy Porschen, which is located on an adorable street and presents amazing displays that change with the seasons, that keep you coming back.
•Covent Garden
This area is a goldmine for your restaurant and shop-grams. Every corner is a postcard. I love how close the locations are, because you get to see so many amazing places in a short distance. I also suggest trying out the pubs and restaurants if you can.
• East London
For me, it has the best flower market ever! The Columbia Road Flower Market is a must at least once. The rows of flowers are endless and so are the masses of people! East London also has a great selection of vintage cars. Make sure to walk around the area (not just the market) and find your shots. The gorgeous pink and peach sister doors are close by, too. If you are in luck, the cat might be out posing! Also check out the art scene in Shoreditch, as well as Boxpark.
