It’s not unique to me, it’s something to grow from. This helped me to silence my self-criticism and have more self-compassion.
• You Can Only Change Yourself
You can’t change other people you can only change yourself. I realized the common denominator in all my problems, for the span of two decades, was me. I began to see that there was always more clean up on my side of the fence.
• Beauty To Me
Beauty is a spark each one of us carries in our soul. Sometimes it’s blinding and sometimes it just glows gently. When you see beauty outside yourself it’s a vibrational match to the spark you hold. All the beauty we experience is simply a reflection of our own beauty.
• Recent Discoveries: Procreate
I have recently discovered that I like drawing digitally on the iPad. I had previously been only painting and drawing and scanning it in. I use an App call Procreate and it’s fantastic, the brushes are very realistic. It’s convenient to be able to take your work with you on the go.
• Business Advice for Creatives
Delegate tasks others can do better than you. Don’t let your fears paralyze you. It’s okay if it’s not perfect. Success will not come from one, two or even five paintings, be prolific. Be yourself, make art about things in your life. Don’t look to other artists to see what you should be making work about. If you are inspired by another artists work and you must paint the same thing then be honest with your audience, name your inspiration.

Identify your limiting beliefs and crush them! It’s highly likely that somewhere in your life you believed a lie that made you think you were less than others. Identify that and let it go, you don’t need that crap holding you down!
